Comparing the new, sovereign Nextcloud Office
Our A-desk team took part in this and other webinars to gain insights into the new Nextcloud Office, powered by Euro-Office, a sovereign open-source office suite built in Europe, compared with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
Validee’s A-desk team surveys, designs and co-assembles smart (frugal) management systems. Advocating the use of fair digital applications, the team chose back in 2017 (!) to embed Nextcloud as Validee’s digital workspace, the A-PORTal. To this day it brings key productivity and collaboration tools together in one unified, modular platform.
Easy to use and manage, it removes the compliance, security, cost and productivity problems caused by disconnected SaaS tools. That makes the A-PORTal an ideal instrument for Validee’s activities, such as project management, operational desk allocation, consortium accounts and venture development.
Note on vision and investment: since we chose to embed and promote Nextcloud, the initiative has grown into a leading collaboration platform, serving the niche we foresaw: digital sovereignty.
