Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a website to work; others are used to measure visits or show advertising. Under the ePrivacy rules (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code) and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021, consent is required for all cookies except those that are strictly necessary.

When you browse validee.agency, we do not place analytics, advertising or social-media cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. That is why this site does not show a cookie consent banner.

The following functional cookies are only set when an authorised editor logs in to manage the website. They do not require consent and are deleted when the session ends or after a short period:

  • wordpress_test_cookie — checks that the browser accepts cookies (session).
  • wordpress_[hash], wordpress_sec_[hash], wordpress_logged_in_[hash] — keep an editor securely logged in (session, or up to 14 days with “Remember me”).
  • wp-settings-[ID], wp-settings-time-[ID] — remember editor screen preferences (up to 1 year).
  • A technical cookie from our security software that protects the login page against automated attacks (session).

Some older news articles may contain embedded content, such as videos, from third parties. Those services may set their own cookies when you play the content, under their own policies. External links (for example LinkedIn) set no cookies until you visit the other site.

You can view, block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies only affects logging in to the website’s back office, not reading the website.

If we ever add cookies that require consent, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Questions: contact@validee.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
